Showing off your art in style

In brief:
Gallery sites are made to provide an artist or photographer with a means to display his or her work in a way that is classy, appropriate to the subject matter and up to date with the latest technology.

They're also designed in such a way that the artist can add new pictures and talk about their details on the website without any web-side technical knowledge, and without involving the developer.

Artists can also lay out their galleries however they choose, including multiple albums and subalbums for each type of picture.

The website is effectively under the complete control of the artist, without the need for the artist to have any technical knowledge.

Most gallery software isn't just limited to pictures; a variety of media types can be uploaded to the website including video, audio, Flash content and textual files.
