In brief:
Blogs are a rapidly evolving form of website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in reverse chronological order, usually with a method by which visitors can leave comments or responses to individual articles. The typical blog will also have an RSS feed or some other method that will allow syndication, aggregation or various types of sharing the content and articles posted to the blog (see "Advanced" for an explanation of what this all means).

The best blogs update with new, original content several times a week, or even several times a day.

Blogs run on blog engines, which are a specialised form of Content Management System, or CMS. A website driven by a CMS can be updated by a user with little or no technical knowledge, without having to understand programming or markup languages or FTP.

This means that we design the blog, its aesthetics and behaviour, and publish it to the Internet - from then on, you have a site that you can easily alter and update yourself without having to pay us to update it for you.

When you're ready, you can have a look at some of the blogs we've created recently - or, for a more in-depth look at blogs and blogging and a quick look at the reasons why such a system could be good for you, click the "Advanced" button. Or, to jump straight ahead and see how you'd actually go about commissioning a blog from us, click "Start."
